Sarah grew up in Massachusetts among five siblings in a creative household. Her parents and siblings took part in local art shows. Sarah also painted portraits, and she designed and sold bead jewelry to retail stores. She has worked as a computer-aided drafter and a freelance copywriter, and she created and edited the literary journal Foliage that published the work of writers nationwide.
Sarah’s fiction and creative non-fiction have appeared in several literary journals and magazines, including Cicada, Pearl, West Wind Review, animus, Barbaric Yawp, Mostly Maine, Healthy Family, Women Writers, Women’s Books, and the upcoming Flash Fiction Magazine.
Sarah lives in coastal Maine with her husband and three sons nearby, fresh out of the nest. She is finishing her third novel.
