Sarah Beth Martin is the author of The One True Ocean, which was published in the U.S. and Germany. Her short fiction and essays have appeared in various magazines and literary journals, including Cicada, Pearl, West Wind Review, Women Writers, Women's Books, and most recently, Flash Fiction magazine. Her second novel is due out in fall of 2022 from Encircle Publications.
Sarah grew up in Massachusetts among creative parents and siblings, and spent her early years painting and taking part in local art shows. She studied drafting at Lowell Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and later attended the University of Southern Maine. She has worked as a computer-aided drafter, a web content editor, and a freelance copywriter. Her creative endeavors also include artisan bead jewelry, which she sells to retail stores under the name Vintage Earth.
Sarah recently signed a deal with Encircle Publications for her second book, due out in October 2022, and currently is wrapping up her third novel. She lives in coastal Maine with her husband and three nearby stepsons, and three cats who occasionally make the social media headlines. She is currently wrapping up her third novel.
